| Details: The Senior Accountant for Financial Advisory Services in our Healthcare group will be responsible for completing financial forecasts for strategic hospital planning. As essential support to our Capital and Financial Facilities engagements, this person will model and evaluate the issuance of new debt, restructure exisiting debt and develop long term capital plans. There will be significant collaboration with the Firm partners and clients to communicate data needs and the results of analyses.Essential Responsibilities:Develop debt capacity models: input historical data, evaluate historical trends in financial performance, identify inconsistencies from year to year. Utilize data in Medicare and Medicaid cost reports Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner. Prepare and review client correspondence, letters, emails, etc. Plan and schedule engagement fieldwork with clients and firm resources Perform audit, review and compilation testing procedures for complex areas and transactions in accordance with firm and professional standards as directed by engagement leaders. Perform detailed reviews of workpapers completed by other associates. Communicate proactively with clients, engagement leaders and tax associates regarding open times, testing problems or other important matters. Prepare and review financial statements and footnotes, management reports, executive reports and other requested deliverables. Establish and monitor engagement time budgets.Additional Responsibilities: Develop enhanced technical competency and industry specific expertise through CPE, firm/industry group events, webinars, etc. Perform client billing. Interface with multi-disciplined client service teams for account planning. Research and communicate with client and firm personnel regarding complex accounting matters. Actively participate in community activities and organizations to develop and maintain positive business relationships with community leaders and members. Actively participate in firm sponsored events for assigned product line clients and prospects.Requirements for this position include: Bachelors Degree in Accounting CPA 3 plus years of experience in Healthcare Wipfli ranks among the largest accounting and business consulting firms in the United States.
